73 Books of Faith

How this came about...

 

So what's all this about? This is a webpage I created to feature the books collection shared with my church friends, easing the circulation of books...

 

It all started with me browsing books at the bookstore in our new home. Each time I pick up an interesting Christian book, I always felt that urge to get them, but currently all I bought at home was the one I'm reading right now-- Good or God by Pastor John Bevere. As for getting a new book for myself, the price tags were always the one that made me put them down eventually and tell myself, maybe next time, maybe when I start earning enough money.

 

So came this day when I was just purchasing a music theory book on carousell and this idea popped up for me to search for those Christian books on carousell:) I mean like, why not right? Pre-loved books by someone who don't need them anymore, I want them! Anw they prolly cheaper also. Scrolled through the many many sellers, all selling interesting titled books at $7-$15 range, when suddenly saw this seller giving all her 70+ books at $40. To me it's really a good deal, considering how much books im getting at that price, 2nd hand but woohoo, being abit auntie I still managed to cut the price abit to $35! But on the other hand I wondered what was the story behind why this person is discarding all these treasures... Yes I did ask but she never once replied my qn on this...

 

Thanks to Sean driving me to this person's ulu ulu private housing up some hill at pasir panjang, YES the books are finally with me in Sengkang. Gam Siah! 

 

73 Books in total, these books I just wanted to share it with you guys. Do feel free to borrow any that you are interested in, treat them nice and we shall just circulate these books around, adding on more books as it goes! This shall be no ordinary library cos I'm not going to set a time limit to how long you wanna borrow the book for, read them slowly, I believe God will speak to us, bring us Faith and hope in every book you take. For those who are really interested in certain titles that have already been borrowed, sorry I may need you to wait for the previous reader to be done with that; but do let me know personally, I will reserve that book for you. In the meanwhile maybe there are other titles that you may want to read about? :)
